Summer End
Well, summer break is almost over and Nick will be going back to school on Wednesday. I'm going to miss him so much. This year will be tough for me because he will be going five days a week instead of three. It seems like he's grown up a lot over the summer. We have had a lot of good times. Here are some pictures from the past week.

Summer Times
Nick is having a good summer. :-) We haven't done too many exciting things yet but we've been able to spend some quality time together as a family.
Here he is riding his bike to the neighborhood park with his sisters. He got the bike for his birthday and he loves it.

Update
Well, I am still learning how to use this blog thing, so all of these pictures are in reverse order of how they happened! Sorry! LOL...Anyway, here's an update on Nick...

This is Hailey and Nick at Field Day on Tuesday. We thought Nick was going to have to wait till Wednesday to do his field events with the rest of his Mon-Wed-Fri class but since he was there he was allowed to go ahead and participate with the other kindergarten class. So he got a lot of practice and ended up winning a third place ribbon on Wednesday (he can't remember which event it was for!).
This was the morning of the last day of school. Hailey and Nick were not happy and both cried all the way to school because they were so sad. They have been fine since then though!
I made this cake for Nick for his actual birthday. It is white cake with white icing and I spelled out his name and age in cut-up pieces of chocolate chip cookies. Well, he fell asleep before it was finished so we actually had it for breakfast the next morning. We sang Happy Birthday and he blew out the candles. It was fun!
